Withdrawal Management
When You Need Us, We’re Here
If you are currently /actively using alcohol or other substances, withdrawal management (detox) is often the first step toward recovery. We understand how challenging and uncomfortable withdrawal can be, and you don’t have to go through it alone. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Our Sub-Acute Withdrawal Management program provides 24-hour, residential care in a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment. While withdrawal management can be a stand-alone service, many individuals choose to transition into one of our ongoing recovery programs for continued support after detox.
Alcohol & Drug Withdrawal: The process
Janus offers a Sub-Acute Withdrawal Management level of care for individuals experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms from alcohol or other substances. Those without significant medical or psychiatric conditions typically do not require hospitalization for detox.
All individuals are assessed using American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria to determine the appropriate level of care. If you have underlying medical or mental health conditions, these will be carefully evaluated as part of your assessment.
When appropriate, medications may be used to help manage withdrawal symptoms and improve comfort, in coordination with your primary care provider.
Our goal is to ensure your withdrawal process is as safe, comfortable, and supportive as possible while preparing you for the next steps in your recovery journey.
