Day Treatment Programs
Daily support for drug and alcohol rehabilitation
Janus offers two separate Day Treatment programs: an Adult Program for men and women, and a Perinatal Program for women who are pregnant or parenting young children.
Flexible and effective treatment
The Day Treatment Programs are Janus’ most intensive and structured non-residential substance abuse treatment modality. Each person’s schedule is based on his or her individualized needs.
Janus’ Adult Day Treatment Program operates seven and a half hours a day, six days a week. The Perinatal Day Treatment Program operates five days a week, three hours a day, and includes childcare.
Day Treatment accommodates clients who need more than outpatient drug rehab but do not require the supervision and intensity of residential treatment. Although specific to drug and alcohol dependency, the program also allows for treatment of coexisting physical or psychiatric conditions that could jeopardize recovery.
Day Treatment Programs include:
• Chemical dependency assessment
• Individualized treatment planning
• Group and individual counseling
• Alcohol and other drug recovery education
• Skills development activities and groups
• Introduction to community and peer recovery support
• Family Program, which includes family therapy
• Relapse prevention skills training
• Treatment coordination and advocacy with court system, union or employer
• Aftercare planning
• Lifetime Aftercare Group Counseling
• Nationally recognized “best practices" including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
and the Matrix Model.
• Innovative techniques such as EEG Bio-Feedback
• Emphasis on successful transition from the program
