Substance Use Disorder Treatment Programs & Services

Effective SUD Treatment from a Caring Staff

Janus treats Substance Use Disorder (SUD) related to alcohol, marijuana, meth (methamphetamine), cocaine, barbiturates, codeine, heroin and other opiates, Oxycodone (Oxycontin), and Vicodin.

Our programs and services offer effective, affordable treatment for individuals and their families, all in a respectful and supportive atmosphere. An essential key to Janus’ success is our compassionate and capable staff, who play a vital role in the treatment and rehabilitation process. Many of our staff members have experienced their own recovery processes, so they bring increased understanding to their work.

Finding the treatment that fits your needs is a critical step toward lasting recovery. Our SUD Program Selection Guide can help answer some of the most common questions people have when looking for treatment.

Licenses & Accreditation

In 2006 Janus received CARF accreditation for the Methadone Clinic and in 2010 for the Residential and Perinatal Treatment Programs. CARF accreditation ensures that people entering our programs will receive the highest level of safe and successful care guided by the most recent effective treatment methodologies. Currently, Janus is the only non-profit CARF accredited program in Santa Cruz County.
Janus is licensed and certified by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). DHCS-certified facilities exceed the minimum levels of service quality and are in substantial compliance with State program standards, specifically the Alcohol and/or Other Drug Certification Standards.

Aftercare Program

Janus’ Lifetime Aftercare Counseling Program is a comprehensive, ongoing support group for all clients who have completed treatment at Janus. This is a lifetime benefit for all alumni. Meetings are offered every week. Call us at (866) 526-8772 for details.
