Perinatal Treatment - A Residential and Day Treatment Program for Pregnant and Parenting Women
WE’RE MOVING! After a year long search, the program will be moving to a new and improved location late this summer. Janus is partnering with Habitat for Humanity and the Rotary Club to remodel the building. Mike Bethke of Slatter Construction is serving as the volunteer project manager, and Peter Bagnell, of William S. Bagnell Architects, Inc. is providing pro bono architectural services. Thanks for the great community support!
Janus' Perinatal Treatment Program serves women who are pregnant or parenting young children (up to age three). The program is an intensive combination of treatment -- including group, individual, family and educational therapies - with the central goal of supporting both the woman and child in recovery. Although specific to chemical dependency, this program allows for treatment of coexisting physical or psychiatric conditions that could jeopardize recovery. In the last 8 months, 12 women in the program gave birth to alcohol and drug free babies!
The Perinatal Treatment Environment
